Getting married in Spain can be a lengthy affair but the reward is worth the time and effort spent. To get married in Spain you have to apply for a civil marriage, either to the Civil Registry or to the District Court (Juzgado). The venue of your choice can apply for a certificate stating that you live at the designated address for the duration of your stay, the mayor of that town can then officially marry you.
